Hunting in Japan

My youngest may be going to Japan to teach for a year or two. This evening, I asked her to "check out the hunting while you're there". She said, somewhat jokingly, "There's no hunting in Japan!" We both started looking "hunting in Japan" up on the net.

WOW! I read the first artical. It costs 70,000 yen for the process which comes to about $630.

I don't think I'll be going to Japan. Not only is their laws obnoxious, their prices are obscene. I suppose that's why John Deere farm equipment is so high priced. I'll never buy another John Deere piece of equipment. .....I don't think we realize just how good & simple we have it here in the USA even tho it's getting ridiculous. ......Paul H
