I have long tried to tell people how BIG submarines are once you see them out of the water. Well, you know what 'they' say... A picture is worth a thousand words. These two submarines are the same class, so the comparison is excellent. However, they are both significantly larger than the sub I rode.

You wonder how they can "hide" a vessel that large????
Talk to yourself. There are times you need expert advice.

The boats are big, but it's a bigger ocean. WAY BIGGER.

We got too complicated......It\'s all way over rated....I like the old and out dated way of life........I miss back when..

The Ohio class sub is almost as long as the tankers I was on in the navy. Spooky looking things out of the water. The crew of an average tanker back in the 1950's was around 200 men. I really liked tanker duty even if it was like sitting on a bomb. .......Paul H
