Well he's growing like a weed. He has an appointment on Monday. It will be interesting to see how much he weighs. This morning we had our first hunting puppy class. He did good. We started with a dead chukar and practiced retrieving that. Then they brought out some live pigeons with their feathers clipped. He was not sure what to do at first but he picked it up quickly. He retrieved it a half a dozen times before he killed the bird. Then they brought out some live chukar and placed one for the dog to find. We also worked on commands and quartering. I learned a lot too. It'll be a month before we can get back. They did not shoot over the dogs but there was shooting going on in the area and he didn't care.
