"High Wind Warning in Anchorage is Hurricane in Lower 48"

Just another spring windstorm in south central Alaska. I think the gusts hit 130 in some places, but 80 mph sustained for about 6 hours this afternoon. In all honesty, this happens EVERY spring and fall.

Don't listen to the morons talking. ALL of the reporters in Anchorage have been replaced in the recent few years by people that are not from here. They have NO "Alaska-sense". They sensationalize EVERYTHING.

Paul, so far this spring we haven't had any really strong winds. No local tornadoes like we usually do either. All this rain & snow is getting boring, I never saw such rotten weather as we're having for this time of year. .......Paul H
