Great pic's. , Paul. Looks barren but obviously lots of life there. I always had dreams ov visiting & hunting in Alaska but at my age, physical & financial condition it'll never happen. I still love seeing pictures of it & dreaming. Thanks for the tour. ......Paul H

Fish is an Arctic Grayling ?.



UK Anglers Fly fishing for Trout generally dont like Grayling much, as I believe they take a fly much more readily than Trout.
I cant believe in fate.
If the futures all worked out, horoscopes & all that, it means none of us are responsible for anything we do, it means we are just actors in a script written by someone else. I dont believe that.

It IS an Arctic grayling. (Thymallus arcticus or Thymallus thymallus arcticus depending on what expert you talk to.) I think they are just 'stupider' than rainbows and other 'trout'. In other words, grayling are not difficult to catch. One of the reasons I like to fish for them.
