The Schmidt - Rubin 7.5-55 K11 carbine was produced for combat support and calvalry units. It soon became a favorite for target shooters as well. A total of 185,150 K11's were produced. I love this straight pull action and the fine machining done by the Swiss. I purchased my rifle from Allan's armory several years ago for $350 one of the best investments I stumbled upon! The action, bolt, magazine, stock, handguard  and buttplate have matching numbers. Mr Rudolf was a Engineer Demolition soldier who owned this rifle his entire life and I found his troop tag under the buttplate. I ordered a 100 yard front sight from the Swiss products shop in Montana so a range report will follow.

Talk to yourself. There are times you need expert advice.
