Rick's a little biased, as he 'likes' turkeys. 😁

Like any wild game, and probably especially birds, domestic versions, (ducks, geese, turkeys, pheasants, etc.), are meatier and more tender. That said, I think the best turkey I've ever had was a wild one I smoked. My mouth still waters when I think about it.

THAT said... Eating is secondary to hunting them in the Spring. The courting displays are just really cool to watch.
