Default Bad Flight.

I flew back from Bill's place in Williamsburg on Delta, from Richmond to Atlanta and on to Kansas City.....Delta, the "on time" carrier. So we got into Atlanta just fine but had to be vectored around thunderstorms. The plane pulled into gate B32and I got off to check the gate for the next leg......and it was gate B32....and that's when my luck ran out. The first sign of trouble was Flt 1352 delayed one hour.....then 2 more.....then cancelled. Cra* House Mouse! So I went to the Delta kiosk and tried to get some info. When the nice lady found out I was retired military flying in "Sky" class, my luck changed. The long and short of it was that I was put on a replacement B757-200 in first class. We departed at midnight and I arrived in KC at 0100 Hrs(time change)......better than sleeping in the terminal. I am getting tired of travel......I think I'll stay home for awhile!
