James 4:8
8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.
 
Don't let the petty things in this world sidetrack you. Put your attention on God and you may start to see those petty things fade away. God Bless.

2 Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Thank you David.  So many forget that God indicated separation between this world and His.  There are still people looking for Paradise on earth.


1 John:


2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.


  2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.


   2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
