So, true to form, I can't get drawn for squat in Alaska, but do OK "Outside". I put in for some 'late' cow elk and deer permits in Utah. Didn't get the antlerless deer, but did get drawn for cow elk. Season Dec 19 to 31 (while visiting daughter and family for Christmas). For those interested: South Slope Diamond Mountain hunt # EA1091.

So, I have a buck deer in Colorado, and a cow elk in Utah. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

Good on you, Paul. I never had ANY luck on draws for hunting anywhere. Neither Maine moose or elk draws in Ky. Seems like the Angel of luck always pees in the frizzen of my musket when applying for any big game permits. Hope you have as much luck filling your permits too. ........Paul H
