The Winter Solstice is tomorrow, @5:23 PM EST!
The brightness is coming!

Well, if you're in the Northern Hemisphere anyway.
Our Friends in OZ and NZ may not feel like celebrating, and I understand that too.

Yeah, happy winter to everyone. It sucks. At least we'll get a few more minutes of daylight each day. That'll make Gitano happy. Me too. :D ........Paul H

Today is my favorite day as we get more daylight tomorrow and loose no daylight today!
The exact time of the solstice - when the sun is southernmost in our sky for the year - is 22:23 UTC today or 16:23 this afternoon in Missouri.

I was hunting elk in Utah (so far unsuccessfully) when the winter solstice 'hit'. It's all GOOD for the next 180 days!
