They are really getting off to a fine start. The Beans have been up 10 days and the
Sunflowers 3 weeks. Happy Father's Day!

I really is. Deep down I feel like this is a really good dream come true. I finally had to replace the old planter with a JD 7000. JD no longer supports the 1962 1280 and with more and more parts needed it finally had to be retired. I cash rent the bean ground now to Randy and Jr Ryan. They planted the whole farm, nearly 100 acres in 4 hours!

Looks real good, Rick. Been a bummer year here for farming. Rained too much but in the past two weeks it turned into the opposite. Someone put beans in the ground last week on the old Lancaster farm up the road from me. Around 80 to 100 acres. Been desert dry for three weeks or so now. Finally got a bit of rain last night. ......Paul H
