Been getting a lot of them in the garden this year.
Been doing a bit of an oriental theme with the garden, & put in a little stream, so maybe that's why.
I cant believe in fate.
If the futures all worked out, horoscopes & all that, it means none of us are responsible for anything we do, it means we are just actors in a script written by someone else. I dont believe that.

Nice. ......I like dragonflies. One of the best & most successful predators of insects in the world. Like hummingbird's, they can do anything  in flight a humer can do. Also one of the fastest flying  insects in the world.  ........Paul H

I like them for -among other things - they eat mosquitoes!

Great pics!

Anything that eats Mosquitoes gets my vote.

In the US at least, they have another common name: Mosquito Hawk. I see that Wikipedia says that the term "Mosquito Hawk" applies to crane flies (family Tipulidae). All of my life we called dragonflies mosquito hawks. Tipulids do NOT eat mosquitoes, dragonflies do.
